Charlie Conacher played his first NHL game for the Toronto Maple Leafs on November 14, 1929, at Toronto's Mutual Street Arena. Charlie played on the Maple Leafs famous Kid Line with Joe Primeau and Busher Jackson. He was later known to be one of the most exciting players with the hardest shot of his era. In 1934, he was the NHL's leading scorer with 32 goals and 20 assists. He also won the 1935 scoring title with 36 goals and 21 assists. In his 12 year NHL career, he scored 225 goals, 173 assists for a total of 398 points and 523 penalty minutes.
